Lake McQueeny, Lake Placid, Lake Meadow, and Lake Gonzales are scheduled to be drained on September 19, 2019 by the GBRA. This could severely damage the areas surrounding these lakes and bankrupt homeowners and businesses, though there is also a chance the man-made dams could collapse in a sudden pressure of water.
